Status: draft, pending counsel review / Effective date: not yet in effect
01Scope and who we are
This draft describes processing associated with the Gliderdale Global website, its inquiry forms and the invitation-only portal for authorized users. “Gliderdale” here refers to the website operator; the exact registered legal entity and its jurisdiction have not yet been confirmed for this notice. A separate notice or agreement may apply to a particular transaction or service. Gliderdale Global is a brand name, not a representation about the identity of the legal data controller.
02Information you provide
An inquiry asks for your name, business email, organization, message, inquiry type and consent; you may also supply your role, phone, investor type, interests, investment range, geography and referral source. Please do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential deal materials through the public form unless requested through an appropriate private channel. The form also sends the page URL (including its query string), referral URL if available, campaign parameters if present and submission timing; a hidden anti-spam field and form start time are used to detect automated submissions.
For portal access, the authentication provider processes account and sign-in details, including email and authentication factors. The portal may contain records that authorized users or staff enter, including contact and organization details, deal and relationship information, communications, access grants, compliance and eligibility evidence, financial-event records, uploaded documents and activity/audit metadata. This may include sensitive information if provided for diligence, identity, tax or eligibility review. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share.
03Information generated through use
Website and API requests necessarily transmit technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps and URLs to the hosting and security infrastructure. Inquiry intake uses a keyed derivative of the request IP address for short-window rate limiting and a fingerprint of selected submission details to detect duplicates; inquiry content is also saved as an internal lead. The portal records account identifiers, access and audit events associated with actions such as submissions, approvals and document handling. Authentication and portal session technologies may process session identifiers and related sign-in information.
04Why we process information
We use inquiry information to receive, route, evaluate and respond to your request, maintain a record of the relationship and prevent abuse or duplicate submissions. Portal information is used to administer access, manage relationships and deal workflows, communicate with authorized participants, review submitted materials and eligibility where applicable, maintain records and protect the service. We may also process information to meet applicable legal obligations, preserve evidence, respond to lawful requests and defend legal rights. Applicable legal bases, where required by law, may include your consent for the inquiry you submit, steps you request before a potential relationship, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations; counsel must confirm the bases and any additional notices for each applicable jurisdiction before approval.
05Recipients and service providers
Information is available to authorized personnel and, where permitted by the portal’s access controls, other authorized participants in a relevant organization or deal. The application operates its own account sign-in (no third-party identity provider), a database/hosting environment to store inquiry and portal records, private object-storage infrastructure for portal documents, and operational email delivery services if configured to send notices or invitations. Providers may process information needed to perform their functions. The website requests fonts from Google Fonts, whose servers may receive standard request information such as your IP address. We may disclose information where required by law or in connection with an authorized corporate transaction, subject to applicable safeguards. Provider identities, contracts and subprocessors beyond those confirmed in implementation require review; this draft does not promise that all services are active or that messages are delivered.
06Cookies and similar technologies
The public site code does not currently implement an advertising pixel or analytics tracker. Portal sign-in sets a strictly necessary session cookie on Gliderdale’s own domain (plus a non-identifying signed-in indicator cookie), and the portal sidebar can set a preference cookie named sidebar_state when that control is used. Fonts are served from the site’s own hosting rather than a third-party font service. Browser settings may allow you to manage cookies, although disabling necessary session technology can prevent portal sign-in. Cookies or technologies added later should be disclosed, and consent sought where required. See the separate Cookie Notice for additional context; its current draft must also be checked against deployment behavior.
07Storage, transfers and retention
Inquiry records, portal records, uploaded documents and audit information are stored through the application’s database, hosting and private storage services. Service providers may process information outside your place of residence. The actual hosting regions, international transfer mechanisms and processor arrangements must be confirmed before this draft is approved; no specific data-residency or transfer certification is asserted here.
We intend to keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, subject to applicable retention duties, disputes, legal holds and the ability to honor valid requests. Portal archive actions are not necessarily erasure, and some documents or records may need to remain as evidence. No universal deletion schedule is established in this draft; counsel must approve a category-specific schedule and deletion process.
08Security
The portal uses authenticated access, authorization checks and controls around private document access; some staff access requires multifactor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is risk-free. These statements describe the application’s intended controls, not a guarantee of absolute security, certification, end-to-end encryption or unrestricted availability. Do not use the public inquiry form to send sensitive records.
09Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and your relationship with us, you may be able to request access to or a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not undo processing already undertaken and may not override legal retention duties. You may also have a right to complain to a competent supervisory authority. These rights and any exceptions differ by jurisdiction; this draft does not claim that any one region’s law applies to everyone. For an inquiry or rights request, use the Contact page and identify your request; we may need to verify your identity and may need to retain limited records to satisfy legal or security duties.
10Children and third-party information
This site and restricted portal are intended for professional and business use, not children. Do not submit a child’s information. If you believe a child’s information has been supplied, contact us so it can be reviewed. If you submit someone else’s information, ensure you are authorized to do so and that they receive any notice required by applicable law.
11Changes and contact
After counsel approval, a version and effective date should be published. Material changes should be communicated as required by applicable law, and the current version should be available at this address. Until then this is a draft, not an effective policy. Questions, privacy requests and concerns can be sent via the Contact page; do not include sensitive identifiers in an initial public inquiry.
Questions or requests? Contact Gliderdale Global. Do not include sensitive documents or credentials in the public form.
